Enjoyed Willie back in his younger days, but this one is great. I think his voice lends to blues/soul very well more so than country these days. I listened to the versions by the writer, Mickey Newbury, and by Kenny Rogers and the First Edition and even Jerry Lee Lewis. Willie does a great job with it. Odd it’s about avoiding LSD, but then Willie isn’t known for his LSD usage.
