Believe it or not a member of my family (Great Grandfather’s cousin) was one of the woman who worked for General Mills in the 1920’s. She answered letters to the company and spoke at meetins on Home Economics under the name of Betty Crocker. I still have my great grandma’s recipe box containing the old Betty Crocker recipe cards.
Wow! That’s amazing! I see a cook book in your future. You can collect some old pictures and make it scrap book style. I’d buy it!
Makes me crave for cookies at this moment. Its a treasure to have those recipes….but yes there is something called the magic in their hands 🙂
