It familiar because it is the same meter as the refrain from “Casey would waltz with the Strawberry Blond and the band played on…”
Yeah, I can hear it! But that wasn’t what came to mind first. I really felt you grasped the rich history of the piano with your lines. 🙂
You know I’ve been trying for months to obtain a piano to plant in my wildflower acre. My wife is not thrilled with the concept, but I love the idea of it being paired with wind chimes ringing on the prairie.
Sounds like a wonderful idea to me. 🙂
