“Décima” Story

The old trainers tell a story
Of two boxers in training camps.
Both train so hard to be the champ,
Now here’s the truth of this story
Lesson found in allegory.
When two fighters are trained so hard
One will lose with his record scarred
Winner keeps seeking a gold belt
Still both must face what life has dealt
Two fighters fought one stayed on guard.
