Day’s closing sunlight
Meets this evenings shade of blue
Young lovers must part.

Daylight memories remain
Thoughts cast to the night
Thoughts cast to the night
Fills the heart with pleasant dreams
Till night becomes day
Till night become day
And blue is lit by sunlight
Love begins again
