Outhouse Blues

Ronovan Décima Poetry Challenge #21
“Tip” In D rhyme line

On the prairie stood the small shed
Fragrant outpost now left alone.
Special building, to some a throne
Sanctuary behind homestead.

Crescent moon, all that need be said!
Sear and Roebuck, the weekly news,
Printed daydreams, crumpled views,
Alley Oop, weekly comics strips,
And contemplation – farmhouse tips.
Harkens back to old Outhouse Blues.
