Thank you so much for the link! I went over and looked at the gas station…which of course I have no memory of. Then looked for my elementary school and church, tried to find my old neighborhoods. And couldn’t believe that my old nightmare of a dentist’s name is still showing as a clinic…must have had kids who went into dentistry–yikes! I knew that my church, St Andrew’s Episcopal had finally closed permanently and become somewhat of a historical thing–made me sad that there weren’t enough folks still showing up of a Sunday to keep her open. Thanks again, for the memories–it sure isn’t the same old little town, has grown bigger, like me 🙂
Ahhh, isn’t that too Lovely!!! Minnesota, I lived there during 9 years of my childhood…Cloquet 🙂
Cloquet, home of my favorite gas station!
Really?? You’re probably joking with me, but tell me more 🙂
Been there many times when I worked as a sales rep on the Iron Range. Reminds me, I need to go get a pastie for lunch… https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/frank-lloyd-wright-gas-station
