Autumn

vista
Words and Image ©2018 cj holm

Dawn’s dreary vistas
greet October’s darkened skies
-geese call to their mate

Westerly winds are raging
goldenrod has lost its shine

Winds At Night

On an Autumn Night!

sunset-a1b

Cool October sky
Tinted twilight glimpse of fall
Cloud wisps set aglow

Harvest dreams drift on clouds
Carried by the winds tonight
