“Wind” In B rhyme line

This morning the air was so still
As if waiting for a gust of wind
In that moment her hope is pinned
To her everyday test of will. The young ones love their tests of skill,
In battles with daily travail.
Some will falter and some might fail
At least they tried to reach the end.
If your goal’s to outrun the wind
Winners must take steps to prevail!©2020 cj holm
