Rumors of more attacks to come
More innocent blood pared

Guilt, accusations, blame
Boasts from terrorist cells
Threats of retribution
Spill into the night.

Nations watch in horror
As senseless violence reigns
Bullets and bombs are thrown
Flesh and bloody remains

Is humanity torn
Can civility prevail?
Will militaries take action,
Since politics has failed.

Is Paris burning
To unite the world in peace.
Can good triumph over evil,
Can hatreds cry just cease?
